How to market your grass painting business.

Thinking about starting a lawn painting business? Great choice! Already have a business setup, and want to market it? I have a few tips and ideas..
  • Realtors- with so many foreclosed homes on the market, brown lawns are everywhere. Most of these homes are vacant and the water and power is disconnected. A real way for realtors to gain an edge is to have the home looking presentable, and green grass is one proven method when it comes to curb appeal. Realtors can be hard to get in touch with. One effective way to contact them is to find a main office where their are several realtors working out of one location. If they have grass outside the building, ask if you can spray a small patch near the front door. This will standout and allow realtors to see this every time they come to the office! Also, then put a yard sign with your info, or a stack of flyers at the front desk, so they know who to contact once they see the great looking green patch of grass outside.
  • Home stagers: these are companies that prepare homes for market. They come in and paint, cleanup, and do the landscaping. These would be excellent companies to solicit your services too. Their is one such company that called me a month ago looking for a grass painter to do that to all of their properties. The grass painting company I referred them too off our website (our preferred vendor list), now is painting about 2-5 lawns a week for this company. And that is only ONE company!!
